Using Kafka

My goal was to experiment with feeding data specially parquet messages into the EventStore with Kafka.

I have Kafka setup locally on a Windows machine, spun up the EventStore and after reading the documentation I see no references to Kafka, versus the marketing materials.

Is my only option to write code in the Notebook to read Kafka -> Spark -> etc and write it into a table in the EventStore?

A quick Google search tells me that the Data Science Experience supports connectivity to Kafka, but I suspect that is missing from this environment.

What are my options?

At this time you would need to write the code as you say, to read from Kafka and write to EventStore. We are assessing providing better options for this in a future refresh. Thanks for your feedback.
