`click==8.2.2` breaks the ghostwriter

Click can pass writer as the string False in click 8.2.2. I haven't looked into detail why yet, since it seems possible this is a regression in click.

I've pinned this in b7cd6e9, from #4489. We can cherry-pick that to whichever PR gets merged first, if click doesn't fix it before then.

At this scale of breakage-in-the-wild I think it's definitely a click issue; I'd be inclined to do nothing and wait for them to yank + fix.
