ts: Saving AlphaSimR specific metadata and provenance information #13
Description
We can store metadata into tree sequence, including provenance information that can support recreation of tree sequence or at least documentation of the key steps.
It is my understanding that SLiM uses this a lot and I believe that Ben is now adding traits information into metadata too.
This issue is to start discussion on what exactly do we want to store as metadata and as provenance information. We will need to flesh this out as we go along.
