Game issue

Won't let me place first word in the middle. I says it isn't in the middle when it is. Also computer player doesn't take it's turn.

Can you tell me which version of Java do you have?

I'm not at my laptop right now but I can tell you it's linux mint 64bit running the latest/or very recent version of Java.
I will get back to you on the java version.

The game was built with Java 8, we'll check in detail what causes this error.

No hurry I was just trying to find a scrabble game for my wife that runs on linux. I thought java would be a good option.
