Description

@pethers

🎯 Objective

Translate the body content of 12 German core + product pages from English to professional German. Germany is Hack23's largest European market outside Scandinavia.

📋 Background

Previous issue analysis: No German-specific translation issue was ever created. German currently has 56/96 files (58%) still containing English body text. Core and product pages are the most customer-facing.

Previous Copilot completion rate was ~0% because issues were too large (84-145 files). This issue targets only 12 files.

✅ Acceptance Criteria

  • All 12 files listed above have German body content (not English)
  • Translations use formal German (Sie-Form) suitable for B2B cybersecurity
  • German umlauts (ä, ö, ü) and ß used correctly
  • HTML structure, links, images, and Schema.org metadata remain intact
  • No broken links or missing elements
  • Brand names (Hack23, CIA, Black Trigram) kept untranslated

🛠️ Implementation Guidance

For each file:

  1. Find the <article> or <main> section with English paragraphs
  2. Translate all text content (<p>, <h2>-<h6>, <li>, etc.) to German
  3. Keep all HTML tags, attributes, links, images intact
  4. Use index_de.html for terminology consistency
  5. German cybersecurity terms: "Cybersicherheit", "Informationssicherheit", "Schwachstellenmanagement", "Zugriffskontrolle"

Reference:

  • "Services" → "Dienstleistungen"
  • "Products" → "Produkte"
  • "Security" → "Sicherheit"
  • "Compliance" → "Compliance" (same in German)
