Visible Entities Through Portals
Entities can now be seen through nether portals. Also a language file and a world black list was added
Portal Flip Command
The /nv flipportal command allows to flip the view of a portal around to the other side.
Messages about portals that could not be linked can now be turned of globally with /nv warningmessages <true/false> or in the config file.
Instant teleportation
Added config option for instant teleportation when entering portal.
Added multi block change packet listener to stop e.g. TNT or mushrooms from destroying a portal animation.
Did a some further minor changes in the view frustum math for better performance
Better Math
In this release I changed a lot about the way the visible blocks for a portal view are calculated. The new math is a lot faster and since this is a calculation that may be executed every tick I am glad I could improve it.
New Portal Save System
Portals that have been located with NetherView will now be saved in a yml file when reloading. Portals that have been connected for viewing portals will be loaded again and don't have to be reconnected after every server restart.
Also a timer was added that removes unused portal cache data after 10 minutes.
First Stable Release
With the help of ProtocolLib the portal projections are pretty stable and undestroyable now.
Also added bStats metrics and an update checker.
Beta Release
The main features are running like
- seeing a projection of the section of the other world when looking through a nether portal
- updating blocks in projections live when they are changed in the other world
- some config settings
- permissions to allow players to see portal projections / to allow linking portals so they know what to project / reload config settings
