Edit multiple polygons at the same time is confusing/error prone

Draw 2 polygons or more.

select one polygon.
select the other polygon.

You can now edit these at the same time.

This can be confusing when polygons overlap/are close

Suggested enhancement:
Only one object can be edited at the same time
