Couldn't find the right place for this so whoever closes this issue could you pass it on to the right place.
Basically the idea is to make memory out of electrowetting by using the design behind RAM/Cache of using nor gates but instead of whatever it is that is currently used which loses it's state after loss of power the ODD (Open Drop Drive) could simply use electrowetting to power those gates, if I remember correctly electrowetting doesn't need power to retain it's state but even if I'm remembering wrong the ODD could just have a built in rechargable battery which if a recent video I watched is anything to go by would allow it to last upto a year without external power which is perfectly fine for a desktop, laptop, notebook, phone & tablet since they will all be likely used within in that time span, I'd happily buy into that even if the 1st one is only 256MB (do just fine for my PS2 with cheat disc :) )
