Project itself is great and updated frequently but number version is set as 1.4.17-DEV

You abandon version number or just forget about it?

I agree that we should have version numbers.

Are you suggesting that we follow symfony 1.4 version number when applying patches or that we start using our own version numbers independantly to the official symfony versions ? As it is a fork of the original, incrementing version numbers may be confusing.

I think your own number version would be great. Maybe something like

1.4.18-LExpress

suffix LExpress to make it clear for toolbar that library is your fork and not follow symfony core numbers

I know this is not easy decision, so you can close Issue if you want.

@bghazy That would be awesome. If you can add twig in a configurable way (using the service container or the factory to choose the templating engine), feel free to send a pull request.
