Automatic Repair Question

When I click on the tab it it fixed a few issues then remains grayed out and appears to do nothing else and stays remained grayed out until I close the program. Is this a bug or th way the software runs?
Also, I created a deshtop icon and when I try to run the program I get a java error message even thought I downloaded the lates version. I have to go to the download folder and try to run it there or reinstal it. no problems with the rest of program tabs.
i am running Win 11 latest version and up tp date on all my PC software, drivers, etc.

Fixed the problem with the program starting. I never created a shortcut, just dragged and dropped from the download folder. You have to walk me through finding the log you need to see. I searched for that file and several pages opened up but I didn’t see that file. I don’t know whether to use Event Finder, file explorer, or the windows +r command. I don't see any file attached. By default, whenever you run RepairKit, it creates/overwrites the same log file, found in the %temp% directory, called RepairKit.log. You might need to use the GitHub website to attach it. But, before attaching anything, make sure you can reproduce the issue you had earlier with the greyed-out options. Once you do, close RepairKit and attach the log file.

I'm guessing one of these hangs forever. Which ones remain greyed out? Does the automatic repair ever finish? I would definitely try clicking the RepairKit icon - there might be a hidden dialog box that you need to interact with, like this:

The automatic repair tab turns gray when selected, then performs its tasks, and remains grayed out. I can’t tell when it’s finished. Next time you use RepairKit, make sure to attach the rest of the log file (what was cut off from the original message), send a screenshot of the program when it hangs, and click the icon in the task bar to check for any hidden dialog boxes. Also, make sure to say what repairs you are running so I know which ones haven't finished yet.
