[BUG] Extreme playback volume after using volume boost #1051
Music suddenly started playing at an extremely high volume, even when the Samsung media volume was set to zero. Adjusting the volume using the phone's volume buttons did not resolve the issue.
I had previously enabled the volume boost setting at +1 dB. After resetting the boost to 0 dB, playback returned to normal.
To Reproduce
I haven't confirmed a reliable reproduction sequence, but the issue occurred after using the volume boost setting.
Use Gramophone with volume boost set to +1 dB.
Play a local music file.
Observe the playback volume and attempt to lower it using the system media volume controls.
Note: I could not reliably reproduce the issue after resetting the boost to 0 dB.
Expected behavior
Music volume should follow Android's media volume controls. A +1 dB boost should not cause extremely loud playback or make the volume controls ineffective.
It seems there's an incompatibility between Samsung changes and Gramophone's boost feature, I can only recommend to not use Boost on such OS. Boost is kinda hacky implemented, not using official API, so I probably can only hide the setting and not really fix it.

Yeah, resetting it to 0 dB fixed it on my S22+. If there's no proper way to fix it, hiding the setting is probably the best option. Thanks for looking into it!
