Still need to add global edge id search and need to run model tests in 2-D to verify connectivity is generated correctly.
Both serial and mpi tests are included

Runs when `main` branch is updated
Generic set up for `StructuredMesh` API call for 1-D and 2-D mesh types This is done to improve consistency in the API, independent of the number of spatial dimensions

FORD doc updates create HUGE diffs that obscure relevant changes. I'll want to push these to be generated on the fly when main is updated or on vesion release.
amdflang builds have been disabled in github due to issues with installing dependencies via spack. For now, amdflang has been removed from the supported list
