I used every method of this library with my nodeMCU, everything works great but default streaming example crashes.
might be related to #208 ?

I have same issue on my NodeMCU 0.9 (ESP8266-12).
Seems it crashes on Firebase.available();
With release i downloaded a month ago, maybe before "Transcriber" had added, example worked fine.
Here is the result from ESPExceptionDecoder plugin.

I also see same behavior recently. It was working fine for months until this week. From the issue list it seems to be related to a new SSL certificate fingerprint, but the crash still happens after I updated to latest library.

I'm having the exact same issue. Stack dumps on available(). Using IDE 1.8.1 and all latest libraries.

Same issue

The issue still remains. It happens more often when wifi signal is weak and ESP looses wifi connection. I've added check
if (WiFi.isConnected()) {
if(fbStream.available()) {
...
}
}
this reduces the chance of exception happens but still not 100%.
To reproduce issue try to connect ESP to network with weak signal reception and from time to time block wifi signal with hand around the ESP, so that ESP disconnects and reconnects again.

This is weird, even the simplest curl example works.

I have tried to add some logs, but I get lost when on available() gets getStreamPtr() from the ESP8266HTTPClient. In this point the demo crash.

According to the references getStreamPtr() should returns the stream of the tcp connection (a WiFiClient)

So seems that the error/change is in the ESP8266 library.
They have a stream example, similar to @kiralikbeyin code, but it didn't works to me: https://github.com/esp8266/Arduino/blob/master/libraries/ESP8266HTTPClient/examples/StreamHttpClient/StreamHttpClient.ino

We should test old libraries versions.
