Hi! 👋
My name is Federico Julian Leiva. I’m a 24-year-old Full Stack Developer with 6 years of professional experience, focused on building scalable web applications, backend systems, and open-source developer tools.
I started programming at the age of 12, driven by curiosity about how video games were built. That early interest led me through scripting and tooling, and eventually into full-stack development. While my current work is centered on web technologies, backend systems, and developer experience, I still plan to return to professional game development in the future.
Below are some of my most relevant projects:
-
SimpleScripting — A Hytale server plugin that enables server-side JavaScript scripting, letting you create custom commands, handle events, and build server features without writing Java code.
-
HTLevel — A highly extensible leveling system designed for mod/plugin developers.
-
HostTale Wiki — Documentation site for Hytale server plugin development, with guides and references (getting started, commands, events, ECS, and best practices). Built with Astro/Starlight.
- FLU — A tiny, dependency-free, chainable terminal styling library with:
- chainable styles, nested styling support, multiple args
- 16/bright colors + background colors + modifiers
- RGB/HEX truecolor support
- a simple plugin API to add custom styles
Install:npm install @invboyz/flu
-
Rick and Morty API — A React app that consumes the public Rick & Morty API to display character data.
-
TCP HTTP Server — A simple HTTP server built on Node.js’ native
netmodule, handling GET/POST requests with customizable responses.
- Frontend: JavaScript/TypeScript, React, UI architecture, responsive design
- Backend: Node.js, APIs, databases, system design
- Tooling: DX, libraries, documentation, open source
- Game-adjacent: scripting, modding, plugin ecosystems
