For the MVP Flow 1 #40 create a page where

  • There is a Welcome to Coalesce greeting and about text
  • Register as an organisation button

All Users (Organizers and volunteers) should start on the Landing page, where they see

  • A header: Which shows links to the Home, About, Opportunities and Contact us pages. User also sees a search icon, Login button and Signup button. [Add site header and footer #67]
  • Welcome to Coalesce Message,
  • Registration button (To register as a volunteer or as an organizer)
  • Search bar to enable Volunteers to search for opportunities.

Scrolling down, An organizer also sees

  • Information about how Coalesce works
  • A short summary about Coalesce
  • Photos and names of actual users using the product
  • Links to the Coalesce social media pages.

The bottom section of the landing page contains

  • A banner and a button to encourage the User to Signup
  • News Subscription button
  • Useful links
  • Copyrights Message
  • Social media buttons
  • Privacy Policy and terms of use

There is a Footer where the user sees

  • The Federation of Humanitarian Technologists Logo
  • The Company registration information.

I will implement this in the frontend. Thanks @Neha-Coalesce and @yevandy!

This is the first cut of the landing page for FederationOfTech#43.

The "Register as a Volunteer" and "Register as an Organisation" buttons
are currently 404 links. Once those pages have been added to the site
the links will work.

The opportunities search box does not yet forward the search query to
the /opportunities page.
