NEW UI/WORKFLOW: Merge "Add Measurement" buttons

Describe the new feature you would like to see in Seamly
Replace "Add known" & "Add custom" buttons with "Add Measurement" dropdown or something like that.

In addition to this I would add a (right mouse button) context menu to the table widget duplicating the same add known and custom measurements. I would also create new icons more representative of measurements than a red and yellow plus sign. Something else to consider is whether the actions should be named "insert" rather "add", as the action being performed is actually inserting a measurement rather than adding or placing the new item at the bottom of the table.

Agreed. Combining both into an 'Insert measurement' button with dropdown picklist with 'Insert known' and 'Insert custom' makes more sense.
