- Platform scope
- Designed for HarmonyOS wearable devices (round screens). Rectangular or very low‑resolution screens may require layout tweaks.
- Minimum API level
- Wearable API 12+ is recommended. Earlier APIs may lack certain ArkUI features or performance optimizations.
- Performance and battery
- Animations are lightweight but still consume power. Long‑running background tasks are intentionally avoided.
- Data model limitations
- Single‑day tracking focused. The sample does not include historical charts or multi‑day analytics by default.
- Offline behavior
- Fully offline; no network required. Sync to phone/cloud is not included in the sample.
- Storage
- Local, lightweight state only (e.g., preferences). Large datasets and databases are out of scope.
- Localization (i18n)
- Sample UI text is in English. For production, replace hard‑coded strings with resource references and add localized strings.
- Permissions and syscap
- Basic UI functions require no special runtime permissions. If you add haptics/sound or advanced features, declare the corresponding syscaps/permissions in app/module config files.
- Accessibility
- Color contrast and font scaling should be validated on target devices. Voice guidance is not included in the sample.
- Form factor variations
- Layout and touch targets are optimized for small, round wearables; verify on different sizes to avoid clipping or overlap.
- Huawei Watch series (HarmonyOS wearable)
- Recommended: HarmonyOS 5.1.0+ (Wearable, API 12+)
