Keyboard appearing on tapping in edit field

After a fresh app restart and performing a few calculations then tapping in the edit field, the keyboard displayed. I then performed some edits with the displayed keyboard then closed the keyboard. This reverted my changes. After using the app a bit more, when I later tapped in the edit field, the keyboard would appear then quickly disappear.
