Happy New Year

This is a configuration for the Sway tiling window manager on fedora 39. The developer has Parkinson's Disease (PD) so the workflow is tailored to their needs. Programming with PD is a nightmare of typos, wandering focus and impulse control, you only have to look at the commits to see the epitome of bad practice. Yet I am pleased to have shipped this because I want to show the effects of PD and I want to tell PD who is the boss in my brain.

The README has a list of features, the code is "why" commented, and you are welcome to use it how you will under the licence; indeed some aspects might even be cool.

This first release of dopamine-2024 is a package of my personal configuration files for the Sway window manager. I have Parkinson's Disease (PD) and Sway can help me use a computer. Features of interest to a wider audience include: 100 scriptable workspaces, slots for 300 custom commands, online context sensitive help, key binding analysis for 61 key keyboards, simultaneous availability of bindings that use modifiers and equivalents using modes so that your fingers and hands can fine tune what works for them, triple WASD for focus resize move, all heavily annotated with "why" comments. Plus, thanks to the PD, typos, bugs and woolly thinking that won't stop me shipping this thing to github to raise awareness.
