This is a 🛑 issue 🛑 for our users to:

• not update their environments dynamically, and always use the environment.yml file as environment constraint
• and, as the issue title says, DO NOT use netCDF4=1.6.1 or 1.6.2 because those are known to throw SegFaults and unexpected netCDF4/HDF5 I/O issues in conjunction with iris, one example of a user hitting this here ClimWIP: Failed to run preprocessor function 'mask_landsea' on the data #2885 (reply in thread)
