searchset from excel

Hello,
i am a new user. I'm working on a navisworks integration with a large database. 
I'm trying to set up search sets from an excel file.
Specifically I would need a function that allows me to take the values ​​of an entire column of excell and not change the number of row.
Is it possible ?
