The Right to Use (RYTU)

Welcome to the official RYTU Core Repository. This repository houses the foundational components enabling the seamless minting, management, and trading of digital content rights through NFTs on the XRPL EVM Sidechain. RYTU's mission is to empower creators with transparent, decentralized, and scalable solutions for intellectual property management.This repository is organized into three main components:

  • RYTU-Frontend: The user-facing interface for interaction.
  • RYTU-Backend: Handles API requests, business logic, and data orchestration.
  • RYTU-Contract: Solidity-based smart contracts that implement the marketplace's logic. This is deployed on XRPL EVM Sidechain

System Design and Narrative

RYTU combines blockchain technology, smart contracts, and an intuitive UI to redefine digital content rights licensing. The core is built with:

  • Frontend: React.js + Next.js
  • Backend: Node.js + GraphQL
  • Smart Contracts: Solidity on XRPL EVM Sidechain

Architecture

Refer to the /diagrams folder for an architectural representation of the platform and its XRPL integrations.

Compilation and Deployment

  1. Clone the Repository
    Clone the RYTU Core Repository to your local environment:

    git clone https://github.com/Dynamic-Flakes/right-to-use-core.git
  2. Install Foundry
    Install Foundry, a powerful Ethereum development toolkit:

    curl -L https://foundry.paradigm.xyz | bash
    foundryup
  3. Navigate to the Contract Directory
    Move into the rytu-contract directory:

    cd rytu-contract
  4. Build the Contract
    Compile the smart contracts to generate the ABI and bytecode, stored in the out/ directory:

    forge build
  5. Deployment a. Set Environment Variables
    Create a .env file and configure the required variables:

    RPC_URL="https://your-network-rpc-url"
    PRIVATE_KEY="your-private-key"

    b. Deploy the Contract
    Execute the deployment script available in the script/ directory:

    forge script script/Deploy.s.sol --rpc-url $RPC_URL --private-key $PRIVATE_KEY --broadcast

    c. Verify Deployment
    Use Foundry to verify the deployed contract:

    forge verify-contract <contract_address> <source_file> --chain-id <sidechain_chain_id> --etherscan-api-key <api_key>
