Integration with freepbx or fusionpbx

I am trying to understand what it is. I have just installed freepbx and I was configuring outbound routes and I came to know that I would need a SIP trunk services like flowroute or google voice. So I started searching for solutions. Then I searched about using whatsapp as a SIP trunk, but I guess that is not the option. People have already tried it I guess. During my search I landed on Doubango.

How and in what ways I can use it with freepbx?

Can I use it as a SIP trunk to make outbound calls? Do I still need to register with some service or provider?
