When I type "bin/repl" into git bash the console goes unresponsive

This happens. I haven't learned to code or use anything like this before, so excuse my stupidity. I've been trying to fix this for an hour but found nothing. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

I don't know what's wrong. Another windows guy had similar results.
