Licensing policy

In June, we decided to change the license for more liberal. We chose LGPLv3+. We relicensed all the files written by us. But some programmers are not available, and some of the files remained under GPL.

Marcus Moeller pointed out the fact that some files in the project have incompatible license. This unpleasant situation. In the near future we will conduct a full audit of the project, and decide how to resolve the problem. We'll have to rewrite some parts, and most likely we will change the license again, now on LGPLv2+.

I would like to draw your attention that the QtXdg library is completely written by us, clean and distributed under LGPLv3+.

Since the project may change the license to LGPLv2+, I ask contributors send the files under that license.
