How to use the old UI

I don't really like the new UI. Previously, I could modify it through settings, but after the update, I can no longer find the modification button.

Well, from what the devs said, it seems the new UI is good enough, and the old one was talking a lot of storage. So there is no way you can change the UI now, at least in the newer versions.

I don't think the new view is perfect. It has introduced strange color schemes and window proportions.

Me neither! It looks like those old 2010 apps, crooked jagged lines, and bad font.

We don't plan to remove the Classic interface until the Avalonia UI reaches feature parity and is considered complete.

Now they've removed the feature due to the package sizes being larger.

You can uninstall the current version and reinstall version v2026.2.1 then disable automatic updates.

Considering that future updates will not restore the classic view, is it possible that a choice needs to be made between the new features and the classic view?

It seems that way unfortunately. If the UI doesn't improve anytime soon I may fork from v2026.2.1, or even before the Devolutions takeover

The new UI is awful to say the least. Really bad choice to completely abandon the old one.
