Native Template Authoring
v0.19.0 adds a native authoring workflow for Design, presentations, and HyperFrames Video. Users can create reusable templates through the existing conversation and editor experience, include the relevant Design System context, validate the result, and save it as a new personal template.
Template authoring reuses the current project, session, package, and validation architecture. Saving a template does not rewrite the source project or change existing templates.
iPolloWork Package (.ipwp)
.ipwp is now the canonical package extension for reusable iPolloWork content. Existing .ipwt packages remain fully importable and compatible.
- Package validation remains content-based rather than relying only on the filename extension.
- Existing v1 manifests, template IDs, versions, Design tokens, and materialized sessions are preserved.
- Unsupported future manifest schema versions are rejected explicitly.
- Archive traversal, executable-file, symlink, duplicate-path, file-count, compressed-size, and expanded-size protections remain enforced.
- Bundled templates and Design Systems retain their existing content and behavior.
Extensions, Agents, and Skills
The bundled extension catalog now includes Figma, Notion, Linear, Sentry, Stripe, Context7, GitHub, WeChat, Design Agent, and Video Agent.
Figma has been updated with MCP authorization and a more focused installation flow. Package relationships and Skill lifecycle management are now clearer, allowing package-owned Skills to be enabled or disabled independently.
Design Agent and Video Agent add managed Skills around the existing creative workflows. They do not replace, redesign, or remove Design Studio, Video Studio, templates, projects, or HyperFrames services.
MiniMax Provider
v0.19.0 introduces a MiniMax provider preset with MiniMax-M3 and MiniMax-M2.7, model capability metadata, and selectable Global and China endpoints. The setup flow stores the API key, installs the supported models, and can select a default model through the existing provider experience.
Desktop and Settings Improvements
- Refined dark surfaces across the new-conversation view, sidebar, composer, Design inspector, Design System, and Video surfaces.
- Improved Simplified Chinese text readability in dark Settings pages while preserving heading hierarchy.
- Added confirmation, progress, success, and failure feedback when disconnecting an AI provider.
- Kept ordinary imports, saves, previews, and connection dialogs dismissible while work continues in the background.
- Added a visible close control to the isolated desktop account window.
- Fixed the resize and restore loop that could produce a blank application window when opening the left sidebar beside a widened right panel.
Compatibility and Data Safety
- Existing Design and Video templates are unchanged.
- Existing projects, sessions, generated files, and materialized template sessions are preserved.
- Existing
.ipwtpackages remain supported. - The Design and Video right-side experiences remain integrated with the current session and editor workflows.

iPollo Cloud Accounts and Local Operation
v0.18.0 formally introduces the iPollo Cloud account system while continuing iPolloWork’s local-first product philosophy.
Users can choose the operating model that best matches their data, collaboration, and deployment requirements:
- Register and sign in to iPollo Cloud to access cloud services, account features, and organization collaboration
- Use iPolloWork independently in a fully local mode without registering or signing in
- Maintain project files, workspaces, model configurations, and related data locally
- Switch between personal local environments, iPollo Cloud, and Enterprise workspaces as required
Whether or not iPollo Cloud is enabled, users retain control over their local projects, runtime environments, and data storage. iPollo Cloud extends iPolloWork with cloud services and organizational collaboration, but it is not a mandatory requirement for using the application.
Enterprise Backend and Self-Hosted Nodes
v0.18.0 expands Enterprise deployment and organization management. Organizations can deploy and connect dedicated iPolloWork backend nodes according to their infrastructure, security policies, and operational requirements.
Enterprise node capabilities include:
- Connecting to backend service nodes deployed and maintained by the organization
- Configuring organization server addresses and dedicated connection methods
- Adding, switching, leaving, or removing Enterprise environments from iPolloWork
- Deploying internal runtime environments that comply with organization network and security requirements
- Independently managing backend services, organization settings, and resource access policies
- Isolating Enterprise projects, sessions, templates, extensions, memory, and internal resources from personal workspaces
- Maintaining separate workspaces for different organizations
This enables organizations to incorporate service deployment, data management, resource configuration, and access control into their own management systems while preserving the core iPolloWork workflow.
Enterprise Accounts, Employees, and Permissions
Enterprise administrators can independently manage their organization structure, internal employees, members, and access permissions.
Supported capabilities include:
- Managing internal employee and member accounts
- Assigning roles such as owner, administrator, and member
- Configuring resource and feature access based on member responsibilities
- Managing Enterprise nodes, organization settings, and workspace information
- Maintaining templates, extensions, Design Systems, and other internal resources
- Supporting member onboarding, departure, and workspace switching
- Establishing clear permission boundaries between personal and Enterprise resources
The independent organization and permission system reduces the risk of mixing personal work with company resources and provides a more secure, standardized, and maintainable internal AI workspace.
Enterprise Template Marketplace
Organizations can create a private template marketplace for centrally managing and distributing resources that follow their business processes and brand standards.
Enterprise template marketplace capabilities include:
- Publishing and managing internal templates
- Distributing presentation, website, design, and video templates
- Managing organization-specific Design Systems and brand resources
- Providing standardized templates for different departments and business scenarios
- Maintaining template versions and availability
- Separating Enterprise, personal, and public templates
- Allowing members to reuse organization-approved workflows and design standards
This allows organizations to turn brand standards, operational methods, and internal knowledge into reusable resources, reducing repetitive configuration work and improving consistency across teams.
Enterprise Branding and Customization
v0.18.0 expands support for branded, organization-managed desktop environments.
Enterprise capabilities now include:
- Custom organization application names
- Custom logos, application icons, and accent colors
- Organization-managed desktop bootstrap configuration
- Connections to organization-hosted servers
- Customized Enterprise connection and sign-in flows
- Centralized management of templates, extensions, and Design Systems
- Separate Personal and Enterprise workspaces
- Isolation of Enterprise projects, chats, templates, extensions, and memory
- Improved Enterprise switching, resource installation, departure, and removal workflows
- Customization of interface areas, resource entry points, and workflows according to business requirements
By combining branding, resources, permissions, and workspace configuration, organizations can create a dedicated iPolloWork environment aligned with their visual identity, internal structure, and operational processes.
Enterprise Co-Development
Qingdao Media Vocational School (青岛传媒职业学校) has participated in the co-development of the iPolloWork Enterprise edition and is building a dedicated iPolloWork environment based on its teaching, collaboration, and organization management requirements.
This collaboration explores Enterprise nodes, organization member management, internal resources, private template marketplaces, and branded workspaces, with the goal of applying AI tools to educational content production, team collaboration, resource management, and institutional workflows.
Personal and Enterprise Workspace Isolation
Personal and Enterprise work environments now have clearer boundaries.
Each Enterprise workspace can independently maintain:
- Projects and sessions
- Chat history
- Templates
- Extensions
- Memory
- Server connections
- Organization resources
- Workspace configuration
This reduces the risk of accidentally mixing resources between different work identities and makes switching between personal and Enterprise work more predictable.
Visual Editing and AI-Assisted Design
The Design workspace now provides more complete element-level editing. Without editing source code directly, users can select one or multiple elements and adjust their position, dimensions, typography, colors, backgrounds, borders, corner radii, shadows, spacing, images, and transform properties.
The active selection and its design context can be sent directly to AI for targeted changes. Users can move freely between visual editing, AI-assisted iteration, and code editing while using live preview, undo, and redo to refine the result.
Global Design Systems and Template Variables
v0.18.0 introduces global Design Systems for managing brand colors, typography, type scales, spacing, backgrounds, corner radii, shadows, cards, buttons, and responsive layout foundations across projects and templates.
Templates now also support shared global variables and reusable design tokens. Users can adjust the overall visual language from a centralized location and apply changes across compatible content while preserving element-level overrides.
This allows projects to maintain consistent visual standards while still supporting complete local customization for different brands, customers, and business scenarios.
