PixForge is free software, and you are free to use, modify, and distribute it under the terms of this license. This license is based on the GNU General Public License v3, with an additional requirement for commercial projects to support animal welfare.
Any company or organization that uses PixForge, or any derivative works of it, in a commercial project must allocate 1% of the gross income generated from that project to the purchase of pet food or donations to registered animal welfare organizations.
Commercial use includes, but is not limited to:
- Selling products or services that incorporate PixForge
- Using PixForge in SaaS platforms or paid applications
- Any revenue-generating activity involving PixForge
Companies must provide annual documentation of contributions, such as:
- Receipts from pet food purchases
- Donation certificates from recognized animal welfare charities
Failure to comply with this clause results in the immediate termination of the license for that company until compliance is restored.
Except for the Pet Food Contribution Clause, all other rights and obligations of the GNU GPL v3 remain in effect, including the freedoms to use, modify, and distribute the software under copyleft principles.
