Create CloudFormation template for RDS Enhanced Monitoring

The Datadog Forwarder has a CloudFormation template that is very easy to deploy and use.

RDS Enhanced Monitoring has the steps documented to manually create the resources.

FYI - you can also deploy via terraform using this module https://github.com/clowdhaus/terraform-aws-datadog-forwarders. that goes for all 3 aws forwarders though I don't know if the VPC forwarder is still necessary

I second this request. It would make the RDS ingestion into Datadog a lot faster for us.

It's possible to deploy the Datadog-RDS-Enhanced lambda using terraform resource aws_serverlessapplicationrepository_cloudformation_stack. (See example below.)

However, it's not possible to configure the lambda function, and it's still necessary to modify lambda environment variable kmsEncryptedKeys after the fact.

Perhaps adding kmsEncryptedKeys to the parameters list would solve this?
