Power

Factions and players each have an amount of power and max power, a faction's power & max power is made up of a base power plus the power of all its members, thus a faction gains more power the more people it has.

Your power cannot go above your max power, however you can increase your max power and power, but its also possible to lose your power.

Gaining and losing power

A player can simply gain power by being on the server, they will gain more power and max power over time, you gain more power depending on your rank in your faction. To gain power more quickly, a player can gain more power by killing members of other factions, the higher the victims rank, the more power they gain. You also gain more power if you're an enemy with the victim's faction.

When you're killed, however, you will lose some power (but you're max power will remain the same), this can be more or less depending on whether you're enemies with your killer's faction.

Some territory can also modify the amount you gain or lose, like the warzone.

Relations

You can declare other factions as your ally, or your enemy, this will let people know where you stand with certain factions.

once you declare a faction as an enemy or an ally, you will regard them as an enemy or an ally, but they will still regard you as neutral, and must declare you an enemy or ally aswell for you to complete your alliance / declaration of enemies.

Enemies

When you're enemies with a faction, you gain more power and max power when killing their members, but lose more power when killed by them.

Enemies can be configured to be able to build but only when you regard them as an enemy, not when they regard you as an enemy.

Allies

When you're allied with a faction you allow them to build on your land (by default, this can be disabled in config)

Land ownership

A faction can claim chunks as it's own territory, players will be able to see its your land when they walk over it, as well as see it when they're nearby and use /faction map.

You can set your faction home on your land for a common teleport point for all your faction members.

Only Lieutenants and above can claim land for your faction.

Build Rules

Only members of your faction and allies can build on your land, however it can be configured on the server to allow your enemies to build on your land aswell.

Power Requirement

Each chunk requires an amount of power to own, you cannot claim a chunk if the value of all your claimed chunks plus this one is greater than your faction power. You won't lose land when your power drops, but other factions will be able to challenge your claim to the land and take it from you if their power exceeds yours
