TasksBar Stream Deck Plugin

A companion Stream Deck plugin for TasksBar—a lightweight Windows productivity widget built with WPF and Windows App SDK. This plugin allows you to control your tasks and sticky notes directly from your Elgato Stream Deck.

Prerequisites

1. TasksBar App: Ensure you have TasksBar running on your Windows PC.
2. Local API Server: Inside TasksBar's settings (Behavior & Sync), make sure Stream Deck Integration is toggled ON so the local server can accept commands.

Installation

1. Go to the Releases page.
2. Download the latest .streamDeckPlugin file.
3. Double-click the file to install it automatically via the Elgato Stream Deck software.

Building from Source

If you want to modify or compile the plugin yourself:

1. Clone this repository:

2. Install dependencies:

npm install

3. Build the TypeScript code:

npm run build

4. Pack into an installer:

npx @elgato/cli pack com.danielgeron.tasksbar.sdPlugin
