Description of the Resource
The migration of Iowa State's Digital Collections from Islandora to CollectionBuilder during 2024-2025 required the transformation of existing MODS-based metadata to a new customized schema based on Dublin Core. Post-migration, metadata creators and other library staff continue to rely on this MAP for definitions, usage notes, examples, and crosswalks for each element in use.
Resource Version
Iowa State maintains the MAP online in a private wiki. This document represents the version exported in December 2025.
