Hi,

I can't clear queued messages and I can't figure out why these messages are not send.
Every thing seems to take long time. Between waht decides to change bandwith of the transmission, we have only manged to geht 500Hz working.

Hi Frank, thanks for your Feedback, I will have a look at this asap. The queued state should change at some point to transmitting, but it might be possible it's interrupted because of a busy channel. Nevertheless messages shouldn't stay in queued state that long. @LA3QMA @dk5sm could you do me the favour having a look at this issue as well?

@db5fp would it be possible sharing your consoles output? It feels to me there are some more things not working correctly. I assume you are running v0.17.7?

Okay, it seems the delete button is disabled while in queued state, we need to fix this.
Running from source is working fine so far.

@db5fp fyi, the used bandwidth is depending on channel busy state, if only 500Hz are free and not occupied, only 500Hz will be used. There is also a SNR check so only modes are used which are working. This decision will be done by the other station, depending on received data's SNR.

I can confirm that a queued message cannot be deleted using Windows executable (v0.17.7). The trashcan icon is greyed out.

However, I cannot confirm that the queued messages will not be sent. Here, the behavior is as expected—after a few seconds, the server attempts to send the message.

Unfortunately there is no timestamp in the chat window but some messages "rested" for days and where even present after restart of PC and freedata. I'm using a quiet old equipment (TenTec OmniVII with USB-Soundcard and USB-RS232 converter) but I can not determ what you call "channel is free" on 40m frequencies are never "free" S-meter reading at my location is allways abot S7-S8 at night and sometimes with speech-fragments, so there should be a user-defined trashold denfined by what to determ the chanel is "free"?
Where is the console-log? I did not find any logs in the directory.

Reliable logging on windows isn't working fine at the moment.
But I guess it's a python error which causes the issue. So if you could just start the server and send me the first 20-30 lines via copy and paste - this should be enough.

@db5fp Sorry for the late replay, I checked your console log and didn't find any reason why the transmission shouldn't start. Maybe there is constant QRM on your channel? If transmissions are not starting, you could maybe post a screenshot of your waterfall screen.
