Tablet MTM-1106 / SZ PENG YI [T501] (08f2:6811) not working on Kernel 6.8

The Problem

Hello,

The digimend-dkms driver (version 13) installs on my system, but after rebooting, the kernel does not load the hid-uclogic module for the tablet.

Instead, the generic hid-generic driver takes control of the device, making it behave like a simple mouse with incorrect area mapping. Configuration tools like xsetwacom and xinput have no effect.

This happens even after trying to force the module with a modprobe.d rule. The digimend driver is simply not being used for this device on this kernel version.
