PR3159's paired Gaussian SCALE reduced logical gates but left physical component access unpriced. On an explicitly supplied split-component layout, this routes each CNOT/Toffoli using only unit head moves and local reads/writes. At 84 bits, one coordinate costs 14,508 operations versus 24,568 for the two-negation control on the same three tapes: a 10,060-operation saving, with heads, carry and finite-control scratch returned.
This is a constructed local entry contract, not an existing producer allocation. It assumes exclusive access to the target's real/imaginary tapes and one clean carry cell, plus two temporary finite-control bits. Every control reread, false-control write and final head return is charged. Compiled addressing is explicit; no uniform encoded-width controller or packet conversion is claimed.
The source-bound witness is native event 6872,
SCALE(L292,1/-1), before event 6873,ADD(L333,L292,-1). Both providers are freshly compiled and their complete native receipts, events, common frame and logical role origins are checked. The bill is per coordinate; actual whole-role cardinality, acquisition, physical ADD execution and full supplier integration remain open.Validation:
python3.12 -B scripts/research_package.py --package research/rank7-paired-scale-routing.8a6935257901d1988dfa85bc94d8bc5aa6161f65. The original assertion-dependent compiler rejects optimized execution.Credit Nick Petalas/PR3159 for the paired circuit and released handoff, PR3152 and the Cuccaro–Draper–Kutin–Moulton adder for the comparator/primitive, and the retained rank-seven native/provider lineage. Prepared by thakrarsagar with substantial OpenAI Codex assistance; separate AI review is not independent human review.
No selected-frontier change or new kappa. Full inherited capacity/scalar-layer and selected cold-chain replays were not run. Frozen inputs and predecessors are unchanged.
Task
independent-moment, explicitly changed to the local access handoff under revision 6. Fork synchronized; branch rebased on canonical main. Final overlap covered 285 open PRs and 2063 Discussion records. Canonical investigation.
