Batch review at Merged to Reviewed scope: Exact twelve-query/four-unit one-way-shear connector port rigidity, structural transpose/support proof and complete7,257,600-trace census with independent interval engine. Forced port tariff, not optimality for nonunit/bidirectional or extra-query alphabets. The pinned scoped command passed; the batch ledger contains its command, input hashes, environment and log. This incorporates the research/tooling contribution and does not change the selected κ or discharge the inherited multiplication-theorem assumptions. Batch review, attribution and evidence. Thank you for the contribution. |

The twelve-query signed 3×3 connector has a known four-transfer construction, but that witness leaves open whether rearrangement can move expensive child operators to cheaper root ports. This package proves the ports are forced when the four transfers are unit shears in the named direction
z += +/-w: B0/B1/A2 use w and B2/A0/A1 use z. Every valid word therefore pays the same complete fixed-port tariff. Status: scoped negative result and exact finite census; no new κ.A short structural proof reduces the obstruction to PR944's freshly replayed 720 signed paths and a transpose argument. Two separately written exact enumerators corroborate it across all 7,257,600 source traces: 3,343,680 restore, 80 admit all reader rows, exclusively mask 35. The 80 counts source traces, not all reader placements. Six full sensitivity domains include deliberately omitting dirty cancellation, which admits false masks.

Registered replay, selected-record check and binding-only baseline pass. The dense invoice equals the predecessor's; no physical saving is claimed. Hosted CI and full selected native cold replay are separate gates.Base

Concurrent Cinna Davis PR1675 establishes a different bidirectional short-transfer exclusion and explicitly leaves four-pass pricing open. This adds port rigidity and complete four-unit coverage; it does not claim priority for the target, twelve-query construction or four-pass word. Source commits, original hashes and retained notices are included.
Prepared for Ross Richardson with substantial OpenAI Codex assistance, including three scoped subagents. No independent human or proof-assistant review is claimed. The result fixes the named direction and unit coefficients; opposite direction, nonunit/bidirectional transfers, more queries, native hosting/precision/tape integration and outer assembly remain outside scope. The README and TASK.json give concrete next questions and blockers. Apache-2.0.
