Needs more spin.js

The Settings page uses spin.js when retrieving the API key. Since every page retrieves stuff, and retrieving stuff takes time, I should just implement a spin.js spinner on each page.

To do something useful alongside this, I can make sure the error messages reported on any request failing get displayed prominently and properly (and stop the spinner).
