Cactus v3.1.2 precompiled binaries print an incorrect version number.

This is a silly minor issue, but I decided to report it anyway.

Today I installed the latest cactus version (v3.1.2) from the pre-compiled binaries, following the . The installation passes the small evolverMammals test.

In any case, when I run:

$ cactus --version # 9.1.2

I get a 9 instead of a 3. This also happens with other cactus binaries (although I suspect they are calling the same subroutine under the hood). This happens both in my personal computer and my cluster (both running Linux).

yeah, it looks like cactus --version just runs toil --version and gives you the result of that. amazing that you're the first to point it out, as it's likely been an issue for every release...

@adamnovak Should Toil be adding its own --version option to derived parsers like this?

Probably not; that would want to belong to the toil command and not to the pre-populated parsers for workflows.
