v1.39.8 - Parameter names dont update

What happened?

Parameter names dont update naturally and have to be forced to update by duplicating the nodes or interacting with the graph in some way that forces a UI update

This is a known limitation in ComfyUI Frontend: when you rename a parameter (like a subgraph input slot), the UI only updates the display label, not the underlying canonical name or widget name. As a result, promoted widgets and parameter names can appear out of sync, and the UI may continue to show the old name even after a rename. This happens because the rename handler updates just the label property, while the identifier used for serialization and proxy widget linkage stays the same. Promoted widget names cannot be changed directly through the UI—attempts to do so log a warning and are ignored. This is not a bug but a technical limitation that requires further design and implementation work to fully support parameter renaming in all contexts.
