Please publish Docker image with GitHub workflow

Hello, I'm @yt-koike.

I admire your work and I would like a Docker image built on every release.
The GitHub offers a feature to publishing Docker images so it is easy to use it to publish images.
I don't mind if the target registry is Docker Hub, ghcr.io or others.

I am eager to contribute to this issue. Thank you :)

Currently, a Pull Request named Add local Docker support is underway. After the merge, it would be useful when combined with build action.

I see the benefits of this feature, and I also alluded to the idea that GitHub Actions would be a good thing to implement—after we nail down Docker locally. I’ll be glad to assist with anything Docker-related if my PR gets merged.

For reference, it’s worth looking at #1469, which also attempted to bring Docker and GitHub Actions together in one PR. However, I don’t think that one is going anywhere due to its age, large scope, and having less features than my proposal.

Official images would be cool - if you need something in the meantime I made some with GH Actions to publish new images when there's a new version:
