Added docs Renamed stop variable to be more accurate - it stops before, not at, that value
Updated the tests to what we'd expect
The data provider had switched to bytes, but the test hadn't Bytes should be more efficient

Added an area-based write function for 2D arrays. Also added a sub-array function for 2D arrays.
