Codebuff CLI not responding - codebuff commands do not work

My Windows terminl emulator keeps showing "loading files" in a flickering display, with no other output when I have successfully entered the "nodebuff >" environment. No matter what nodebuff command or prompt I run there I keep seeing this same status.
