Godot editor settings lost whenever going through the project selection screen with the add-on installed #4

Hi, and sorry for bringing up so many things. I'm almost positive this is add-on related (not sure if on the Godot side or script-splitter side though).

For some time now I have had an issue where I would change editor settings in Godot and they would promptly get lost whenever I closed and reopen the IDE. Today I came across this, and it feels very similar to what I'm experiencing.

I'm using Godot 4.4.1, and I'm usually changing the hinting type, the inspector settings to show raw variables, as well as some settings related to opening and closing the bottom output panel. On the tablet I also change zoom levels to 175%. Some of these would require Godot to be restarted, the IDE would prompt me to restart itself, and when coming back everything is fine. But these restarts don't go through the project selector, they go straight into the IDE.

I also realized that any changes I made to the script-splitter add-on weren't getting saved after I'd quit and restart the IDE.

Then I watched the settings file in %APP_DATA%, and I saw it getting reset when going through the project selector.

I had this happening on my PC at home, and now I was experiencing the same on my Android tablet. I have just deleted the add-on (it was the only one I had), and the problem disappeared completely, so there definitely is something of a connection there. I also found that comment linked above.
