Bottom status bar size mismatch in windows (dev branch v0.2 && v0.2.2)

I noticed the bottom status bar height mismatch after upgrading from dev branch v0.2 to v0.2.2. It could have been happening on v0.2, but I never noticed it. Now I can't get rid of it unless I turn the plugin off.

Yeah thanks, that visual error occurs when creating a new division and is reset when resizing the root.

I left it for last because it's not a critical bug and will likely be fixed in later releases.

Hmm, it doesn't seem to work for me.

This is after removing the previous version, deleting the .godot folder in the project and the script-splitter lines in editor_settings-4.4.tres under ...\AppData\Roaming\Godot\

I also ran into a few issues after doing this - the window panels seemed to be a lot larger than normal (the window on the left was going 100% width, the second one began under the Inspector pane, and vertically I could see the text continuing below the Output/Debugger bar. I tinkered with it a bit by dragging stuff around and switching between modes until if finally reverted to normal (not sure what did it though). This didn't happen initially when I first updated only the add-on, and it's probably something I deleted.

I updated right now and followed the steps you mentioned. So far, I haven't had any strange display issues. If you experience any more display issues, let me know and I'll test it for a few days before releasing another version.

The plugin version is stabilizing.
I still need to review the pop-ups; after that, it shouldn't be an issue for anyone using it. 🥳

The detail to keep in mind is the change in size that is calculated internally based on the elements.

What is shown in the video would not be considered an error because it is a native operation of the engine, anything else would be.

Hi and apologies for the delay in getting back to you. I'm unfortunately travelling until Friday, so I won't really be able to take a proper look. I'm using Godot on my Android tablet though while I'm away and it seems the issue is reproducible here as well. If that's how Godot handles it though, then it is what it is. In any case, compared to the usefulness of the plugin this is such a minor issue :)
I did find something else however, and I'm almost sure it's script-splitter related. I will open another bug to keep things separate.

I downloaded and installed 0.2.3.1 on my tablet, and it is indeed fixed now.

There is a very minor thing that I noticed, that can be probably be ignored in any case:
If toggling other UI elements on/off, the bottom bars become thicker. Clicking inside one of the windows to focus it though brings the size back to normal.
Repro steps:

• enable the distraction free mode (expand the coding area) > thick bars > focus in one of the window / then the other > normal bottom bars
• click the expand/collapse the scripts panel on the side > thick bars > focus in any of the windows > normal bottom bars
