Instaling with CC 2014

Hi,
got problem with installing it with CC 2014 - it's saying it need at least version CS6.. any tips?

The extension manager does not work with some CC versions.
To make the extension work you have to install it manually.

1. Download the zxp file
2. Change the extension to have a zip file (.zip)
3. Open the zip file and copy its content
4. Go to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CC 2015\Required\CEP\extensions\ (create CEP and extensions folders)
5. Create a folder named co.chrismckee.gitweaver (or anathing else like com.vendor.extension)
6. Paste the zip content into the folder
7. Start Dreamweaver

I presume that it's the same process on MacOS but I don't know the exact path to CEP\extensions.

You can try to use Extension Manager CC, available on the CreativeCloud.

You should be able to install it from the source; the new adobe extensions based on certificates etc mixed with my not using dreamweaver in 6 years is kinda delayed things.

I have found a solution. The problem is that Adobe Extension Manager does not support CC after 2014. To get it working, all you need to do is:

• Download the command line tool from https://www.adobeexchange.com/resources/28
• Extract the files in the zip into your Extension Manager's folder (usually C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Extension Manager CC)
• Open Extension manager and it will update with all the 2015 and previous Adobe programs you have installed
• Double-click the zxp file and it will install as normal
