Automates the Journal Entry Submission Workflow for Drexel University Accounting

This UiPath bot eliminates manual data entry steps by integrating Excel, Chrome web forms, and OnBase uploads into a streamlined, automated process.

What It Does

This bot replicates the full journal entry workflow normally done by accounting staff, including:

• Triggering from an Excel macro
• Extracting a FOP number from a generated file
• Automating entries through Banner web forms (FZPFEED, FURFEED, FGRTINI)
• Uploading all documents into OnBase
• Providing user review windows along the way

⚙️ How It Works

1. User clicks "Make Upload" in Excel → creates a FOP file in Temp
2. User places journal files into Desktop\OnBase_Upload
3. Bot:
   • Closes any open OnBase session
   • Validates FOP file
   • Submits FOP through FZPFEED, FURFEED, and FGRTINI
   • Reviews submission
   • Logs into OnBase and uploads all files
   • Offers a 45-second review window
