Isn't it possible to have two different reactive parts of the ring? As it stands now, just the whole ring is being colored and stuff, which wasn't my intention. If it's not possible, I can make modifications, so just the inside of the ring will be the reactive part.

EDIT didn't actually fix it, not really sure why it colors all of it and not just the part you have colored its weird

you basically need to cheat the color system by having the "ring" be mostly transparent
