Crash Course - Time Pilot Homage

Homage

It is year 2022, aliens have invaded planet earth. Nations all around the globe have united their military resources, and launched offenses against the aggressors. Very quickly it became apparent that using unmanned fighter jets was not effective in combating the aliens, machines would often fail to adapt to alien fighters that seem to evolve right in the midst of a dog fight. It was essential for humanity to take control of iron wings once again, but ever since the invention of self-piloting planes, “Pilot” as a profession has all but disappeared.

For humanity to stand a chance a new generation of pilots has to be made. An Elite military unit made up of exceptional people that have the aptitude and attitude to be at altitude is made, you are one of these people.

There isn’t much time, so as soon as pilots learn to control a fighter jet they are put through an altered reality crash course. The course takes you through time periods and pitches you against historical aircraft. The objective of the game is to pass the course, so that you may join the fight for humanity.

Only pilots that pass the course are trusted to join the fight for earth.

Original - Time Pilot

The player assumes the role of a pilot of a futuristic fighter jet, trying to rescue fellow pilots trapped in different time eras. The player must fight off hordes of enemy craft. The background moves in the opposite direction to the player's plane, rather than the other way around; the player's plane always remains in the center.
