Android search deep-link not working

Hi! As I have already few decks in my Ankidroid, I wanted to add a link to each card searching for the work in DaKanji.
I have installed DaKanji 3.4.2+107 on a mobile phone with Android 13.
Deep links to a single word (like the ones created directly from DaKanji) works, as it works searching a word in English. However if I try to search a Japanese word (in kanji or kana), either the search is ignored if DaKanji was already running or it get stuck at the initial splash screen (the one with the spinning wheel).

Love the tool in any case!

I just tried the link

https://dakanji.app/app/dictionary?search=食べる

and

dakanji://dictionary?search=食べる

can you confirm that this does not work for you (please try with the app already open and when not open)?

They both don't work on my system. I tried the https link from both Anki, the GitHub app and Chrome and they behave the same: if DaKanji is already open, it switches to the app but nothing happens and if it wasn't open, it get stuck in the splash screen. The same behaviour happens for the dakanj:// link.

If it can help, I collected the logcat when using the https link with the app already open. Let me know if it can help the one from the closed app too.

Can confirm the described behavior on my device with the dakanji.app link. (can't test the dakanji:// URL scheme, though)

This is weird as it is working for me.

Ok, I tested it with v3.4.2 and indeed it is not working.
Before I tried it on my development version where it seems to be working fine.
I will finish 3.5 in the coming days and upload a beta release. I'll update you when it's available.
