Beta Release 3
This is a third beta release of Lode Runner ported to the Commander X16 emulator/rom version r37. The lode_runner.zip artifact includes the lode_runner.prg and all necessary .BIN files. This version updates the splash screen to support selection of world, game speed, sound on/off, and starting level.
Please open issues on github for any problems you run into, and specify the world (Classic/Championship/Professional/Fanbook/Revenge) and level where encountered the problem. Suggestions are welcome as well.
Changes anticipated in subsequent beta releases
- Improve sound support, add "level complete" sounds
- Level editor for custom levels if commanderx16/x16-rom#136 is resolved in a future kernal release

This is a second beta release of Lode Runner ported to the Commander X16 emulator/rom version r36. The lode_runner.zip artifact includes the lode_runner.prg and all necessary .BIN files. This version adds preliminary sound support.
Please open issues on github for any problems you run into, and specify the world (Classic/Championship/Professional/Fanbook/Revenge) and level where encountered the problem. Suggestions are welcome as well.

- Improve sound support, add "level complete" sounds
- Support multiple game speeds (the current "fast" speed and a slower speed which matches the C64 version of Lode Runner)
- Level editor for custom levels if commanderx16/x16-rom#136 is resolved in a future kernal release
- Additional code refactoring/cleanup to support unit testing
